Canela.TV, a free, ad-supported streaming services for U.S. Hispanics, has debuted an original Spanish-language entertainment news show ¡Ponle Canela! The 30-minute entertainment news program, created by Latinos for Latinos, will feature the hottest celebrity and entertainment news, exclusives, interviews, videos, fun games, music, movies, television, star sightings, streaming shows, and more. ¡Ponle Canela! airs live Monday through Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET on Canela.TV.
¡Ponle Canela! is hosted by Mexican television personality Alex Garza, a singer, broadcaster, host and actress.
“¡Ponle Canela! is our way of putting the spotlight on everything that matters to our audience in the world of pop culture and international entertainment,” said Jerry Leo, chief content officer at Canela Media. “We are so excited to have our host Alex Garza lead the show with her unique style and energy.”
¡Ponle Canela! features daily guests, including some of the stars from Canela.TV’s original shows. During the first two weeks of ¡Ponle Canela! , novela villains from Canela.TV’s Secretos De Villanas, premiering on Oct. 20, will be interviewed on the show: Gabriela Spanic, Aylín Mújica, Cynthia Klitbo, Geraldine Bazán, Sabine Moussier and Sarah Mintz. Also featured will be Julián Núñez, filmmaker and winner of Canela’s 2021 Latin Heritage Film Challenge.
Advertisers will be given the opportunity to sponsor daily segments about music, art, film, Latino trailblazers, red carpets, beauty and fashion, the world of pop culture and entertainment, reaching young Hispanic audiences who tune in for this one-of-a-kind program available free to Canela.TV viewers.
