Prince George County Police confirmed to ABC News that one person died and three others were injured following a shooting near a 7-Eleven store in New York. Capitol Heights, Maryland on Saturday night.
The first four victims were transported to area hospitals, where one victim was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The status of the other three victims is unknown.
Prince George County Police shared on Twitter Saturday night that police responded to the 8 p.m. shooting. and make the discovery of the deadly shooting.
“When they got there, they discovered that some people in a convenience store had suffered bodily injuries. They were all taken to a local hospital. An adult male was later declared dead,” the statement read.
Detectives are at the scene trying to find a suspect or suspects and a motive, police said. This is a developing story. Please check for updates.
